A conceptual prototype exploring the potential of large language models (LLMs) to transform college and career guidance. This project demonstrates how AI can personalize support for students while augmenting the effectiveness of school counselors—empowering them to offer more timely, data-driven, and scalable guidance.
Flow & Architeture
Designed the logic flow for how user interactions are structured, focusing on leveraging existing user data from internal databases alongside real-time inputs to build contextual prompts for LLM-based communication. This high-level framework outlines how data flows through the backend infrastructure and interfaces with the LLM via API, ensuring seamless, context-rich interactions and efficient system integration.
Prompt Engineering
Developed a modular prompt architecture to enable hyper-personalized guidance tailored to each student’s unique stage in their academic and career journey. The system dynamically assembles prompts using contextual inputs, while preserving strategic oversight and directional control over the LLM’s responses—balancing customization with consistency and reliability.
